Ministries: Children
At Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, we know that one of your greatest concerns when visiting a church is what is available for your kids. That’s why we created an exciting kids and preschool ministry at Mt. Pisgah. Our desire is to create a fun and safe environment where your kids can learn that God loves them and how to grow in their faith. We have many opportunities for your kids to get involved at church. These are fun environments but they are also safe and secure. Making sure your kids are safe while in our care is first priority. We have a secure check in system and everyone who leads in our kidz ministry has had a background check processed in order to lead. This check in process provides security for your children while you worship
Kids Life Groups: Infants – 6th Graders | Sundays at 9:30am
LifeGroups are age-graded small groups for your children and teach them to apply biblical truths to their daily lives with a fun, creative approach. Using teaching, songs and games the kids will be having fun throughout their whole time in class. These classes meet at 9:30 am in the education building. Ask a greeter and they will lead you to the appropriate class.
Kidz Church: K5 – 6th Graders | Sundays at 10:45am
Using teaching, songs and games the kids will be having fun their whole time in class. It meets at 10:45 am while the main adult worship is happening in the sanctuary. It is located in the “Kidz Church” room upstairs in the education building. A greeter will show you the location.
Itty Bitty Kidz: Newborns – Age 4 | Sundays at 10:45am
Itty Bity Kidz Nursery is a loving and safe environment to care for and nurture children from birth to four years of age. The nursery provides a clean, safe, and God-centered environment for the kids to play and learn about the Bible. The Nursery is on the first level in the education building.
iPraise: Age 3 – 6th Grade | Sundays at 6:00pm
IPraise is our kidz choir and is done on Sunday Nights at 6:00 pm. The children will learn songs and two times a year they will learn plays. They will perform a play around Christmas and one in the Spring. They also will perform on a few Sunday mornings throughout the year.
Pioneer: Wednesdays at 6:30pm | Sept-May Only
Pioneer Clubs are a bible based program designed to teach children the importance of God’s word. Through memorization, reinforcement and awards, children are encouraged to learn scriptures and how to apply them in daily living. Pioneer Clubs meet each Wed night from September-May at 7:00 pm in the education building.
